An increasing number of school districts are stocking Narcan in response to a spike in student overdoses

The worsening opioid epidemic has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives over the past 20 years. Recent overdoses at Los Angeles schools has prompted the district to stock the overdose reversal drug Narcan (naloxone) in all public schools.
