2022 Arizona Golden Rule School Awards

Children’s Campus and Premiere Children’s Center have both been selected as this year’s Golden Rule Schools! Years ago, Mary Sue Watson, owner of both schools, reached out to AGREE and began the process of having her staff learn, teach, and live the Golden Rule. Recently, and in response to the challenges faced due to Covid, Ronnie Armstrong, was hired as Executive Director and began to reignite the importance of living the Golden Rule. As a team they experienced radical changes by redirecting students to how they would want to be treated, using the Golden Rule Compass to respond to challenging situations with staff and families, and other methods to teach the Golden Rule. The Result? Both schools now enjoy environments that are more positive and safer than before, having created places where everyone feels respected, seen, and are treated with the Golden Rule.
