Episode Summary：
Sadao Maou, the Overlord lives in poverty in a six-tatami mat flat with his two confidants, Shirou Ashiya and Hanzou Urushihara. While Ashiya is lamenting over the tight household finances imposed by the NEET Urushihara, Maou senses a weird presence from the shoe boxes. Meanwhile, Emi Yusa, the Hero, visits Suzuno Kamazuki, a Chief of the Doctrinal Corrections Council, who lives in the room next door to Maou's. Chiho Sasaki, a high school girl who works in the same restaurant as Maou, is asked by Suzuno to do the Bon welcoming fire with her. After her part-time job, Chiho goes to Maou's flat with him.
