The woman who was set to be appointed to a senior New South Wales trade position has told a parliamentary inquiry. She was preparing to relocated her family to New York when the job was given to former Deputy Premier John Barilaro. Jenny West has been giving evidence about Mr Barilaro's appointment as trade and investment commissioner to the Americas, a job he has since quit.
