Energy Minister Chris Bowen: There are 'no easy fixes'

Commonwealth, state and territory energy ministers have agreed on a plan to try to ease the nation's energy crisis, but say it's unlikely to have any short-term impact on rising energy prices. One part of the plan would see energy retailers pay power providers to maintain extra capacity in case it is needed. But the energy minister, Chris Bowen says there are no easy fixes for the current crisis.
