Queensland launches commission of inquiry into DNA testing at its state-run forensics laboratory

The Queensland Premier has bowed to pressure to hold a commission of inquiry into DNA testing at the state-run forensics lab. Concerns have been mounting that insufficient testing may have failed victims of crime. Retired judge Walter Sofronoff will conduct the six month $6 million probe.
