Traditional owners of Canberra to make Native Title claim

The traditional owners of Canberra the Ngunnawal people intend to lodge a native title claim on the ACT. The move comes on the 30th anniversary of the landmark Mabo decision. It has been 25-years since the Ngunnawal custodians attempted to stake a native title claim on the capital.
