Malaysia recorded 1,544 new Covid-19 infections and 2,905 recoveries on Monday (May 23), says the Health Ministry.
Only 4.3% of active cases or 1,078 individuals needed to be hospitalised, with 39 warded in intensive care units (ICU) throughout the country, of which, 25 required ventilator support.
