The Neighborhood of Hookers - William Branham Scandal

Pigalle is a neighborhood in Paris that since the Second World War became famous for prostitution, strippers, erotic dancing, and more. The locals call it the “Neighborhood of Hookers”, which hasn’t changed much since the early 1900s. During the war, it was nicknamed “pig-alley” by members of the United States military who visited. Due to the gay bars, gay visitors, and homosexual prostitutes, it was at one time considered to be the homosexual capital of the world”

When William Branham and his campaign team toured France, they made sure that this seedy location was one of the stops. According to William Branham, he heard that both men and women were stripped naked on the streets, and wanted to go see it for himself. Branham took “two or three ministers down there to see those women and ‘things’ that stripped on them streets”, and came back bragging about his tour. In his sermon, “The Mark of the Beast and the Seal of God”, Branham admitted that he and Jack Moore went specifically to see the prostitutes of Pigalle.

While other Christian leaders would be forced to resign from such a scandal, Branham’s cult of personality claims that this is “because he was a sinner” and “a prophet of God” — unaware that most of his prophecies were failures or moving targets.
