Multigrain cereal is one of the super food for babies above 8 months (only 2/3 ingredients for 6 months plus babies). It should be given to your little one once s/he has tested most of your blended grains.

During the first 6 months of your child’s life, he or she is likely to eat solid foods.

If your child reaches seven or eight months old, you are able to enjoy a variety of foods he or she can eat from various food groups. Lito is combination of such varieties of lentils, beans and cereals to be given to babies which is nutritious and necessary for their brain, muscles and body parts development.
It is prepared for different stages. Initially it is made with just 2 ingredients like rice and mung dal. Later lito is made with more ingredients in it.
Ingredients we have used for this video are:
1 cup red rice
1 cup broken wheat
1/2 cup maize
1/2 cup soyabean
1/2 cup Mix beans
1/2 cup green beans
1/2 cup black chickpeas
1/2 cup green peas (kerau)
1/2 cup yellow mung lentil
1/2 cup red lentil
1/2 cup horsegram lentil
1/2 cup sago
1 handful of peanuts
1 handful of almonds
1 handful of walnuts
7 pieces of black cardamom

Benefits to babies are:

Broken wheat contains good amount of protein, calcium and iron. All of these are extremely vital in the development of the child, both physical as well as mental growth.

Maize helps in weight gain of babies, body
growth and development, improves digestion.

Soyabean is enriched with essential nutrients to support a child's growth and development.

Red rice improves heart health, blood
circulation and helps treat constipation.

Horsegram lentil keeps the body warm, good for bone as it has high iron, calcium and protein in it.

Sago provides the right amount of calcium required by your baby to develop strong and well functioning bones.

Mung Lentil is a good source of protein, vitamins and minerals and also do not contain any fats, also very easy to digest.

Masoor dal is power-packed with nutrients and has immeasurable benefits.

Mixed beans is the powerhouse of nutrition.

Nuts are very good source of protein.
