Fight over hijab continues, students call for state bandh

Student activists on Wednesday said the Karnataka High Court judgement on hijab was ''disappointing'' and asserted that uniforms should be inclusive of social and religious practices. Karnataka High Court's three-judge bench on Tuesday ruled that wearing hijabs does not fall under the essential practice of Islam.
