00:00It's like a dream as I said yesterday after the game that I was courageous enough to have this dream
00:08saying that I want to win it for my country. I want to contribute in such a way that it
00:13becomes
00:14what it is now. So I am very happy and feeling very blessed.
00:19A long struggle. It was a huge struggle. Many times you were in the team but was not there in
00:25the playing.
00:25I mean especially from Kerala there were several criticism saying that no chance given for us and finally all this
00:32happened.
00:32So how are you seeing this journey?
00:34Yeah seeing very as I said it's I am actually trained to look at situations in a positive manner from
00:42my childhood days.
00:43So I kind of genuinely feel that all the pain all the setbacks have made me much stronger and that
00:50is the only reason why I could do what I did.
00:52So I kind of feel that all the pain and all the setbacks and all the disappointments in life and
00:58in career if used in a positive manner can be a really great strength in your life.
01:03So I think that's what happened and I am very grateful.
01:05Any message to the investors?
01:07Yeah this is one of the biggest messages which I just gave.
01:10I think so yeah.
01:12How is your family here since?
01:15Family is very happy ma'am. I think we are a bit calm and relaxed and private kind of a
01:21family.
01:21So right after winning yesterday I wanted to come back home and straight away came to where my parents are
01:29living.
01:29So both of them are very happy and very thankful to them actually.
01:35Very thankful to my parents, my father and mother.
01:39They were someone who introduced cricket in my life.
01:42I think they are the reason why I started playing.
01:45They are the reason why I am who I am.
01:47So very grateful for both of them and also very grateful for the whole community all over the world.
01:55I think all the support, all the messages, all the prayers which I constantly keep getting.
01:59I think we all know how powerful prayers are and when genuine people pray for you I think it can't
02:06go wasted.
02:07So I am very happy that I was able to.
02:10I think right after the New Zealand series I was a bit negative.
02:16I think it's very okay to admit that if you are not, you are 100%.
02:20I think I kind of feel that I admit that I am not okay.
02:24So I had my circle very close.
02:26I had my wife travelling throughout the World Cup with me right from day one.
02:31I knew that I was not going to be a part of the World Cup team.
02:34So I asked her to be with me because I was not at my best self.
02:38So she really supported me, really backed me and really kept me in a really great frame of mind.
02:44That is very important.
02:46I think the frame of mind is definitely relatable with the people whom we are surrounded with.
02:52I think when my wife was with me I am always a bit joyful, always a bit positive, always laughing,
02:58smiling.
02:59So she kept me happy and when I am happy and when I got the opportunity I was doing what
03:03I could do.
03:04So very grateful for my parents, for my wife, my friends and all the supporters.
