01:31asia war response our external affairs minister jay shankar has echoed prime minister moti's stance
01:37on the need for dialogue to resolve the war jay shankar also said and asserted that west asia
01:42is key for energy in india
01:51major shake-up in crude oil prices amid the west asia war brent crude oil over 100 100
01:59dollars a barrel there up by 28 percent in just 24 hours these are the highest crude oil prices
02:05we've seen since june of 2022 after israeli strikes targeted major oil depots in tehran triggering large
02:16fires and disrupting fuel supplies across the province authorities have now warned residents
02:21about toxic pollutants spreading across the city and the risk of acid air acid rain in fact if rainfall
02:29occurs in further escalation an iranian drone hit a bahrain oil refinery smoke inculved the bahrain oil
02:40plant at babco and this is the second such attack on the oil refinery in bahrain
02:48meanwhile here in india benchmark indices on monday ended sharply lower with the sensex crashing 1400
02:54points rising global tensions a sharp spike in crude oil prices and renewed foreign investor
03:02selling triggered the steep sell-off on the lal street

03:27the house tomorrow meanwhile delhi high court has issued a notice to arvind kejriwal manisha sodha and
03:34others over the cbi's plea challenging the discharge in the liquor gate case lower court's stinging
03:40observation against the probe legacy has been stayed but relief for our leaders continues
03:50and then the man behind team india's historic t20 world cup victory gotham gumbhir speaks exclusively
03:57to india today says the men in blue are capable of everything and are now eyeing the 2027 odi world
04:05cup victory
04:12it is day 10 of the war in the middle east and there are no signs of the conflict ending
04:18any time
04:19soon what began as a confrontation between us israel and iran is now sending shock waves across global
04:27markets and india is feeling the heat as well the biggest impact is being seen on the dalal street where
04:35investors are reacting sharply to rising geopolitical tensions fears of higher oil prices and also
04:43global uncertainty over the past week the indian stock market has been extremely volatile with massive
04:49swings amongst every trading session so let's look at how markets have reacted day by day from the time
04:58this war actually began on march 2nd the first trading day after us and israel struck iran the sensex
05:06plunged over 1000 points while the nifty fell over 300 points the sell-off continued on march 4th sensex dropped
05:16another 1100 points there nifty again sliding across approximately 400 points over there there was a brief
05:23recovery that we saw on 5th of march and then reports suggesting that conflict could ease down a bit
05:30the sensex on that sentiment rebounded by 900 points the nifty gained again about 285 points but the relief
05:38was short-lived on 6th of march the sensex again fell by about a thousand points while the nifty dropped
05:44about
05:45315 points and the pressure has only increased with the start of a new week today the sensex crashed to
05:541 353 points while the nifty tumbled 4 22. so what exactly does this mean for the broader market since
06:03the war
06:04began now before the war began the sensex was at 81 287 today it's fall to 77 566 a drop
06:13of you know 4.5
06:155 8 percent almost the nifty tells a very similar story it has slipped from 25 000 to about 24
06:23the
06:23decline of about 4.57 the war has also wiped out massive investor wealth in just a few trading sessions
06:31on the 2nd of march nearly 7 lakh crore rupees of investor wealth was wiped out from the markets the
06:38loss grew even bigger on march 4th when around 10 lakh crore rupees were erased in a single trading session
06:44and the selling pressure continued on 6th of march with another 3 lakh crore rupees wiped out from the
06:51investor wealth in just a matter of days lakhs of crores in market value have vanished highlighting how
06:59global conflicts can rapidly shake financial markets globally and also here in india largely shaking
07:07investor confidence in other words the ongoing conflict is directly bleeding out and bleeding
07:14into financial markets wiping out investor wealth and raising concerns about what happens if the war drags on
07:25all right so the biggest trigger like we told you behind the slump in indian stock market right now
07:31is the sharp rise in crude oil prices and why are oil prices hitting a two-year high because one
07:38of
07:38the world's most critical oil routes the strait of harmaz remains heavily disrupted continuous attacks and
07:47rising tensions in the gulf have choked the entire shipping traffic through the strait forcing several oil
07:52firms in the region to hold or slow down crude supplies with a large portion of global oil shipments now
07:59passing through this narrow corridor any disruption immediately sends prices soaring how exactly check out in this report
08:20all markets are exploding prices surging like a pressure valve suddenly blown open
08:30and today the spike became historic bent crude the global benchmark surged 219 dollars and 50 cents a barrel
08:42a dramatic leap after last week's 28 percent rally in just three months crude oil prices have doubled
08:50in the united states west texas intermediate jumped more than 30 percent in a single trading session
08:58the reason war supply shocks and one of the world's most critical energy arteries now under threat
09:12the surge began when the us and israeli strikes hit multiple iranian oil depots
09:17sending plumes of black smoke over tehran those attacks were followed by iranian strikes
09:23on energy infrastructure across the region refineries storage facilities shipping routes the world's oil
09:31network suddenly under fire markets reacted instantly with prices erupting
09:39this chart tells the story best three months ago brent crude was hovering below 60 dollars a barrel then the
09:47conflict erupted and prices climbed faster higher until today's spike brent crude touching 119 dollars 50 cents
09:56just a few drops away from its all-time highs
10:01the danger is now beyond just the strait of hormuz adding to the uncertainty iran has hardened its political
10:09stance the country has named mujtaba khamenei the son of ayatollah ali khamenei as its new supreme leader
10:17it's a clear signal that hardliners remain firmly in control and that the conflict could stretch far
10:24longer than markets hoped
10:28start to destroy us president donald trump brushed off this price spike calling higher oil prices a
10:37small price to pay for global safety defending the aggression and claiming the prices will fall soon
10:45but traders clearly disagree the surge has already shaking global markets stock futures in the united
10:52states plunged asian markets suffered unprecedented tumbles and economists are warning in that if
11:01prices stay high the world could face another wave of inflation and slower growth
11:09for india the world's third largest oil importer the shock could be particularly painful india imports
11:16more than 85 percent of its crude oil which means every dollar rise in oil prices directly
11:22hits the economy the price of the indian crude basket a mix of several imported crude varieties has
11:29shot up in march from around 68 a barrel in april last year to a low of 62 dollars in
11:36december
11:36the 99 level on friday was before monday's spike higher crude means more expensive petrol and diesel
11:46pressure on the rupee and rising inflation and that's not all there is also a rising specter of shortages
11:54all set to add fuel to the inflation fire indian oil companies have already seen their shares tumble as crude
12:02surged the big question now how long will this last analysts warn that if the war continues oil
12:10supplies could remain disrupted for weeks or even months some forecasts even warn of a crude bomb prices
12:18climbing to 150 or 200 a barrel if the squeeze continues bureau report business day tv
12:31so the war is now more than 10 days old missiles are flying oil depots are burning shipping routes are
12:39under threat but the real question now is where does this war go next there are three possible
12:46parts that are emerging that we've got listed out for you and for india each carries a very different
12:52economic shock if the war stresses or in fact goes on lingers a little bit into a month or longer
12:59the biggest danger lies here the strait of her mass nearly one-fifth of the world's oil passes through
13:07this very narrow channel if iran blocks or seriously disrupt shipping the global oil supply could
13:13snap prices could surge to about 150 even 200 a barrel now that would trigger a global economic shock
13:24fuel costs rising everywhere inflation surging again economic growth slowing some economists even
13:29warned that this could trigger another global inflation wave and just for perspective here japan buys
13:36about 80 to 90 percent of its oil from the middle east region south korea about 80 percent as well
13:42china buys around 50 from this region india buys about 40 to 50 from this region and us as you
13:47all know
13:48is self-sufficient in this area meaning higher the dependency higher the impact on each of the countries
13:56the impact would be immediate india imports more than 85 percent like we said of the crude oil which means
14:03every jump in global oil price hits the economy directly higher price of oil would mean a massive
14:11import bill pressure on rupee rising inflation petrol diesel cooking gas all becomes more expensive
14:18shipping and aviation could also be hit that means freight costs rising air routes disrupted supply chains
14:24slowing down indian airlines exporters and logistic companies all facing higher cost and there is another
14:31concern officially around 10 million indians live and work in the gulf also around 8 000 indians still
14:39trapped in iran a prolonged regional conflict could threaten jobs and even remittances money that
14:47millions of indian families actually depend on if diplomacy so that's scenario number one let's move to
14:53scenario number two what happens if diplomacy suddenly halts the war right now markets as you know will
15:03react instantly oil prices likely to fall sharply geopolitical risk of premium would disappear shipping
15:08routes would get on the normalcy track over here the global markets could rebound as well but
15:15this is a major thing to remember even if the war were to end tomorrow it would take at least
15:2330 to 60 days
15:24for the oil disruption and supply chain to normalize that means for india it would not bring immediate
15:33relief in fact for any country in the world fuel prices could ease out but only in about like we
15:39said
15:3930 to 60 days time inflation fears of course would cool down rupee would stabilize just the opposite of
15:45everything we told you in the first scenario right remember the crisis has also exposed a major
15:51vulnerability india's dependence on west asian energy which is why policymakers are increasingly now
15:58diversifying oil imports when it comes to india looking towards russia the united states even africa but
16:05the most likely outcome is outcome number three scenario three let's put that up for you
16:15where there is neither an escalation nor peace instead a controlled conflict meaning missile strikes cyber
16:26attacks proxy warfare but carefully calibrated to avoid a full-scale regional war iran continued sort of
16:35continues its limited retaliation with drones missiles proxy groups all of it israel responds with
16:40precision strikes as well again military strikes energy infrastructure strategic targets all of it
16:45but the conflict continues however the both sides stop short of triggering a total war oil becomes the
16:54pressure point iran may you know avoid fully closing the strait of her must that would trigger a massive
17:01global retaliation right instead of global retaliation right instead occasional disruptions harassment of
17:06tankers insurance costs soaring oil price remaining volatile but not catastrophic
17:14likely hovering between 90 to 120 you know dollars a barrel for india what does this mean scenario number
17:20three this becomes the most uncomfortable scenario
17:25not a crisis big enough to trigger global intervention but unstable enough to keep oil prices expensive meaning
17:33persistent inflation pressure weaker rupee higher fuel cost financial markets would remain nervous foreign
17:41investors tend to pull money out when geopolitical risk stays elevated remember meaning again that frequent market
17:48sell-offs sharp rallies and sudden corrections so
17:55three futures now lie or three scenarios now lie ahead a long war that shocks the global economy a sudden
18:03ceasefire that
18:04calms the markets but takes time to get things back on track or perhaps but now many are saying the
18:11most
18:11most probable outcome a tense shadow conflict where the war never fully ends and the oil markets remain permanently
18:22on the edge and remember this ultimately every war just might be good or bad for politicians in politics
18:33but terrible for economy and largely for people like us that is the real cost of war that the world
18:42is going to pay
18:47meanwhile the government remains confident that india can manage its crude oil and energy
18:52requirements even as tensions in the middle east continue one key reason behind this confidence has been
18:58in the steady flow of discounted russian crude that has helped india maintain its supplies
19:03but fresh reports now suggest that this trend may be changing now maps tracking the global oil tankers
19:11let's put that up on the screen for you movement indicate a large share of russian crude shipments
19:16no longer headed towards india
19:20you see those red dots over there
19:23not headed towards india instead many of these tankers are being diverted to other asian buyers
19:29particularly china in fact the map on your screens right now shows very limited tanker activity along
19:36the indian coast while significant number of oil shipments appear moving towards the chinese ports
19:43why is that happening is there a sort of surge pricing that is taking place of oil at the moment
19:50is the
19:51world bidding for oil right now i have with me somebody who understands this right to the course
19:56siddhar zarabi joins us now for the very latest siddhar thank you so much for being here uh we had
20:02a long
20:02discussion this afternoon trying to decipher how to make sense of what's happening and you said
20:08something that really stuck with me you said this is the uberization of oil explain that well uh you know
20:16frankly what this war could also be called a oil prices war at the core of it what is iran
20:23doing
20:24iran is trying to make sure that consumers across the world including in the united states pay the price
20:31for the attack on them and that is now rippling through the entire energy ecosystem and this energy
20:38ecosystem as you can see from some of these details which we have right here up on the screen there's
20:44been
20:44massive volatility 120 dollars and that then getting uh corrected because one big detail and piece of
20:54information that came up but look at this situation a doubling of crude oil prices uh since the beginning
21:01of the year who could have imagined a scenario like this and that has a cascading impact 120 uh dollars
21:09to
21:09the barrel uh this was after that attack on iranian storage which is compounded matters because it's
21:16not just about the free flow of oil oil that is stuck on ships and tankers and a hormuz strait
21:23where no one
21:24is going through because it all started with insurance getting uh blocked off and as we move along we'll try
21:31and capture the point that you uh made uh sonal which is what is then happening there's been a recovery
21:37because in minutes from now we will have the g7 meeting and this is the group of seven countries
21:44which will meet to decide and possibly release between 300 to 400 million barrels and that will go into the
21:52market and that having an immediate uh impact on spot prices spot prices corrected to buy almost 12
22:01dollars and in fact a bit more and it's been a bit of a yo-yo in the last uh
22:06several hours so we will
22:07see how this settles down but that one big announcement is what will the g7 do to release
22:13oil from the reserves the second bit which is on your screen and this is saudi aramco which is one
22:20of
22:20the largest oil producers in the world in fact the largest is now doing something that is very rare which
22:26is to offer oil on the spot market through tenders and these two factors reason one and reason two
22:33could come to the rescue of what is clearly the biggest oil price shock that the world has seen
22:41in uh living memory and this would have subsequent effect downstream impact possibly on fertilizer prices
22:50on uh metals pricing because the entire fuel ecosystem is feedstock for that entire process
22:57so the saudis what they are doing and what the g7 will of course will make a difference and finally
23:04on the point that you made about surge pricing uh it was around four days back when we first at
23:10business
23:10today reported that russian oil was back on tap after that so-called waiver that the united states
23:17decided to offer on its own uh we've still been purchasing so i don't know what that waiver was
23:22but what it meant was that more quantity of russian oil was available for india but no longer at
23:29discounted prices and what we have seen in the past few hours is a 26 percent jump in urals crude
23:36from
23:37russia and that's because everybody is scrambling and china which is one of the largest buyers is scrambling to
23:45stock up even more uh than it has because its energy uses are amongst the highest in the world so
23:51a lot of flux as far as the oil prices are concerned and i think between the g7 saudi arabia
23:58and what the government of india is doing to enhance supplies at this stage will perhaps have a
24:03calming effect but clearly this is going to be a space that will be watched of in the days ahead
24:09right
24:10that if i can quickly ask you one more thing how you know it's quite fascinating when you try to
24:15understand how this bidding war for oil is actually going on is there a forum where it happens how exactly
24:20do countries decide how are they holding china for example you say that is you know still has the
24:27largest reserve perhaps possible but it's still buying more india uh in parliament we heard there by the
24:34minister saying that we have about 74 days of reserves with us so japan this morning if i'm not
24:41wrong started dipping into its reserves just today they have about 300 days of oil with them so how
24:47exactly is this war going on on the seas and this entire uberization process then so you know this is
24:53a
24:54complex time in the world energy market remember russian oil has been sanctioned and a lot of russian
25:01oil that is flowing out particularly into china is through sources that are not perhaps very clear
25:10cut it's not black and white many of these tankers that carry a massive amount of oil every day have
25:16different flags and they don't declare what their destination is or what is the origin of their crude so
25:23there's a shadow market as far as russian crude is concerned but there are other factors at play
25:29in this very very toxic mix really venezuelan crude is coming back and at some point sonal and it will
25:37happen uh iranian farsi sweet crude will also come into the mix so there is going to be short term
25:44volatility and remember india's sources of crude oil are more than russian oil itself and i think that
25:52strategy is going to pay off in the days ahead but in the short term uh prices are going to
25:58pinch
25:59all right that we leave it there for the moment thank you so much for explaining all of that
26:03so simply for our viewers also to try and understand and like sidhar said this is not just the war
26:08of a particular country it is the war of oil prices now dubai has long been considered one of the
26:14safest
26:15cities in the world yet even this symbol of stability now finds itself under the shadow of the ongoing us
26:22israel conflict with iran i'm joined next by someone who moved base to stay in dubai it was better for
26:29business it was better for family all of that now has fallen into a rethink let me introduce to you
26:37now
26:37sachin devdogal he's a founder and ceo of uh second brain.ai sachin thank you so much for joining us
26:43here on india today i first want to understand where are you currently what's the situation like
26:51so we um sonal we moved to the dibba uh fajera coast so that's on the eastern side of the
26:56country um
26:57you know honestly it's something that we thought about doing with the kids for a while
27:00um and did this um did this on friday evening um we're sort of between the mountains and the
27:07water it's it's a slightly quieter rhythm you know you do hear the thud every now and then
27:11and you see things in the air um but um yeah so so so we're here right now and we
27:17head back to dubai
27:18today you're heading back to dubai today do you were you in dubai the day we first saw that drone
27:24enter one of the high rises at palm jumeirah could you explain to us what was happening sure so actually
27:32that night i was heading for dinner with a colleague of mine um and normal evening um we were in
27:38the
27:38car and we saw sort of a lot of black smoke as you sort of turned into the into the
27:42main funnel
27:43um you know we're very near the fairmont um so it's quite close to home um i didn't see the
27:49event
27:49fold itself um but you know um that sort of journey in the car it's the moment when you two
27:55people look at each other and you've sort of the pin has dropped so he jumped out i said you
28:00know you go to the hotel get your stuff i'm gonna go home and get the kids um and you
28:05know we sort
28:06of quietly shifted went home got the kids together um and it was sort of like a pretty you know
28:12instinctive move i think we'll sort of go towards the mountains and the coast uh to the other side
28:18um and to be honest it was it's kind of human um and you know one thing i'd say to
28:23you is it sort
28:23of mirrors a lot of how i've seen the uae handle the situation it's just been really human
28:28um there's not been mass hysteria people have been pretty calm it's been really well organized
28:33um you know you get alerted the channels are open you know i read a lot about the things that
28:39are being
28:40said and you know being on the ground here i got to tell you for the context it feels pretty
28:44safe
28:46i see safe enough for you to go back to dubai today yeah exactly you know i spoke to a
28:52bunch of my
28:52friends we actually came as a we almost came as a caravan of families over over that weekend um and
28:59many of us have sort of had headed back um you know the kids again the government sort of swung
29:04into full motion kids went to remote schooling the next morning um and now we're heading back
29:09because ultimately look this is home right and we're proud to be home and um i can't see a safer
29:15place for us to be right now all right last word then sachin at the moment we all have friends
29:21and
29:21family in dubai in the middle east as well in different parts and everybody seems to be under
29:26the shadow of war at the moment a lot of them have moved back to india as well now that
29:30the flights
29:30are operating at exorbitant rates but yeah they are operating uh do you have a message for them
29:36since you are at the moment on the ground what do you have to tell them
29:40so you know sonal like my wife was stuck actually in mumbai uh she'd gone for some work when this
29:45whole
29:45thing erupted uh and um i have to tell you again it's like you know how they ran the air
29:50corridor
29:51how emirates flew folks back in so she came back to dubai sort of against the traffic i guess um
29:57and
29:58the thing i'd say to you is look obviously it's important to be as a unit as in a family
30:01together
30:02we've had a lot of friends that have also left and a lot of friends that are staying um i
30:06think you've
30:07got to make the right decision for your personal circumstance um but you know it's it's it's a tough
30:13spot to be in i guess it's even tougher to explain to little children what's going on
30:17um and i think that's probably the the hardest thing that i'm finding as a father is how to sort
30:22of correlate and translate this into things that you know they can understand and and and grok
30:27i think for families that are sort of split you know come back together as fast as you can
30:32you know you you see the alerts you see the military aircraft um you know you can panic by seeing
30:37it but you can also feel a lot of reassurance um and sort of protection by it as well
30:42um and and if otherwise i've also heard a lot of families go out through musket
30:46so they're you know they're driving up the border from from fujera uh into musket and then you know
30:52out to india or out to istanbul yeah all right sachin davakal uh you've taken the brave stand there
30:59and you've got your reasons for it you explain why and how so kudos to you stay safe to everybody
31:06out
31:06there uh you know stay in touch stay close and like you said we all all we really hope is
31:11at the
31:11moment that things will de-escalate moving forward thanks so much for joining us thank you so much
31:18like we said it is day 10 of the war and at the moment the situation is rapidly evolving
31:25earlier on in the program we brought you to see three scenarios that actually emerge from this entire
31:31conflict the impact it has on india but largely what's happening on the ground our reporters are
31:37spread across i'll be joined very shortly by my colleague shweta singh who is in tel aviv to give
31:43us a sense of what's happening there what's the sentiment they're like also with us in some time
31:48will be ashdosh ashdosh is in uae he'll be telling us about what exactly is it that the government there
31:56does not want you to know and a little later then we will try we will try and get you
32:03a report from
32:04tehran as well let me first cut across to my colleague ashitosh ashitosh tell me firstly what
32:13exactly is your location at the moment how are things at the moment in dubai
32:22well i'm in aldera a few kilometers uh from dubai and of course right behind me at a few distance
32:28we
32:28are seeing the frequency of flights the outbound flights uh from dubai has pretty much extended
32:34and that seems to be the evacuation process that's quite expedited by the ua authority and this is
32:38because of that remains of the interception even today around 12 ballistic missiles have been
32:48intercepted nearly 18 drones that also tried to enter ua territory were intercepted and were shot
32:53down uh so that remain a major challenge as far as hostalities from the iran is concerned because
32:59unless you neutralize all the threat clearly that will be a major threat because you need a safe air
33:04space so the operations for now from dubai to other places continues uh we are seeing the large part
33:10of the evacuation being done but ua primarily if you see the nearly around four people have died and
33:14so far if you see the number more than 1500 drones were fired by the iran towards ua and of
33:19course they
33:19were targeting the american infrastructure military infrastructure the air assets or the naval assets
33:24but there have been collateral damage there have been casualties on the u.s side number of people
33:28injured number of people were arrested and many of these commercially you know hub of these people
33:34for the tourism for the business industry that has taken a hit in fact as we speak the saudi arabia
33:39has decided not to you know to halt the oil production because they are running out of the
33:44storage and clearly you need more storage because the uh state of hormones has been clearly affected so
33:49if you don't have a supply the disruption you cannot produce more oil and eventually if saudi arabia has
33:54done probably ua will be the next country so whatever stock they have the government issues has ordered
33:59do not stockpile delivery mechanism everything is being done by the same time it is
34:03the spirit of the people of the ua that they stands united braving all this uh the consequence
34:09and the one question that they are saying why dragged us we have nothing to do with the conflict
34:13why dragged us why ua should suffer and many other reasons along with um you know this middle east we
34:19are saying the global consequences including india now you there is a global crisis all across the
34:25global community that's exactly everyone is talking about that let there be some effort to calm down this
34:30temperament unless unless until unless you resume the business in middle east clearly the crisis
34:35is going to deepen for the worldwide yeah a lot of sirens around where you are as well so we'll
34:41give
34:41you a minute to sort of get to a safe place and perhaps tell us more about what that was
34:45all about
34:45but let me also cut across to my colleague shweta singh now she joins us from israel in tel aviv
34:51now shweta over to you tell us what's been day 10 looking like there thank you sonal day 10 is
34:57looking as bleak as uh the uh initial nine days and uh it's still just the same in israel uh
35:06though
35:06there was a respite last night with the number of sirens uh having gone down at least for uh tel
35:12aviv city
35:12and uh the suburbs so uh while israel is relentlessly uh pursuing what it calls its uh objective in this
35:22particular iran war with the new supreme leader uh in iran having been announced uh now there is a
35:30chilling evidence of america's hand emerging in the in the school that was struck on the first day
35:39of this uh conflict when the conflict started a school in iran was struck and uh initially figures
35:44of 50 children having lost their lives then around 80 and then it crossed 100 a total of 175
35:51people lost their lives a majority of them being children little children school children
35:57and now america's role in this is coming forth
36:08a new video has emerged as key evidence that a u.s missile likely hit an iranian school
36:15where 175 people most of them children were killed the chilling video uploaded by iran's mehen news
36:22agency and verified by the new york times shows a missile striking a naval base
36:27near the shajare tayyab school in minab on february 28
36:36the aftermath of the strike is haunting
36:44inside the shattered school compound pastel murals of trees paint brushes and crayons still cling to broken
36:52walls remains of a playground lie scattered across the debris
37:02backpacks notebooks and twisted desks are buried under concrete and dust
37:15the video is significant because the weapon seen in the footage appears to be a tomahawk cruise missile a weapon
37:22used by the united states military no other force in the conflict operates tomahawks these missiles are
37:30pre-programmed with precise flight paths before launch and guide themselves to their intended targets
37:37that detail matters because u.s president donald trump had earlier dismissed the incident claiming iran
37:44itself was responsible for the strike that destroyed the school did the united states bomb a girls elementary
37:50school in southern iran on the first day of the war and killed 175 people based on what i've seen
37:56that
37:57was done by iran we think it was done we think it was done by iran very inaccurate as you
38:03know with their
38:04munitions they have no accuracy whatsoever was done by iran but the newly geolocated footage now appears to
38:12contradict that claim if confirmed the evidence raises disturbing questions was a civilian school caught
38:21in the blast of a targeted strike
38:25why wasn't adequate reconnaissance done before launching the precision strike
38:32why was the school targeted even if it was located at an iranian naval base
38:37was the devastating attack on civilians deliberate for families in minab the answer may already be
38:45painfully clear bureau report india today so now not just iran but the entire world is questioning
38:54but at the same time there are missiles and rockets being fired from iran towards israel uh drones from
39:00uh hezbollah pockets uh in lebanon towards israel and the entire area the entire
39:07uh middle east seems to be uh in a mess the west asia war it rages on uh with new
39:15missiles being
39:15fired both from iran and from israel uh israel reported a total of 11 civilian deaths ever since uh the
39:24start of
39:25the war and it is a concerning uh statistic for the nation uh because with the number of uh ballistic
39:32missiles
39:32missiles being fired from uh iran the biggest uh the biggest challenge is how does the air defense
39:39keep going uh we'll show you a report from my colleague ashutosh mishra who is in
39:44uae and he's spoken uh to the to the first uh person who was the uh ambassador who was an
39:52envoy to india uh
39:54listening to what he says we did not allow any uh activities against iran from our soil this is for
40:07sure and has that message not been gone to iran by the by uae it was very clear very clear
40:15uh on the media we did not send an envoy to talk to them maybe maybe because we didn't see
40:26a reason for
40:27that but the media and the press and the world knew that we did not allow any activities against iran
40:38from our soils nor kuwait nor qatar nor qatar is hosting uh the biggest american base in the region
40:48that's correct but we heard that the americans have moved all their aircrafts from qatar to avoid such
40:59a clash so why are we up where we are targeted and attacked i don't really know what rule india
41:07and
41:08the leadership could play potentially at this time to uh resolve the crisis or to bring the
41:12temperament and the temperature is a great country the uh profile of india provide alone
41:26the mere fact that one telephone call from mr moody to both
41:38israel and iran to stop it will stop one phone call okay i am so confident
41:47that one phone call from sir moody mr moody was in israel ten days ago
41:54mr moody has a very very good relationship with iran he's the biggest buyer of iran's oil very simple
42:01very simple very simple i'm not saying any secrets very simple one phone call from mr moody will solve the
42:10problem and i relied too much on the indian leadership and the government to intervene for many reasons
42:23number one is to preserve and save their community in in our country
42:31the community that helped the infrastructure help the trade help the business help
42:41uh not from now i mean 78 years ago i mean uh 80 years 100 years even that started in
42:54dubai
42:55so you had the first envoy of uae to india hassan mirza who's optimistic that if uh prime minister
43:01narendra modi uh picks up his phone calls uh the iranian side and the israeli prime minister as well
43:08uh everybody will will will will listen to him so that's uh what the sentiment in dubai is that's
43:14what the sentiment in uae is and and a lot of the west asia countries a lot of a lot
43:19of the gulf
43:20countries uh feel the same way uh and he is talking about of course the fact that uh the prime
43:25minister
43:25was uh here in israel just a day uh before the attacks were unleashed uh but uh we we are
43:32not
43:33just talking about the iran israel usa war but uh israel's war against terror which includes its
43:40attacks on hezbollah pockets in uh south lebanon the conditions in south lebanon uh my my colleague my
43:48our reporter ashraf vani has been bringing to you exclusive pictures because uh india today is the
43:55only channel which is on ground in lebanon in in uh the south lebanon the war zone of south lebanon
44:02there have been villages which have been evacuated there as also from the israeli side the the north
44:08israel villages bordering lebanon have been asked to move back because the war there is intensifying
44:16my colleague ashraf vani brings you this super exclusive report from south lebanon
44:25india today is the only channel which is on ground in the south lebanon south lebanon has become the
44:32battlefield between idf and the hezbollah and the devastation during last one week in the south lebanon
44:39is visible in each and every corner of the south lebanon i am currently in the tire city which is
44:45the
44:46largest uh city in the in this south lebanon and also the hustle and bustle always which remained
44:56with the tourists and the visitors because this is the coastal city and very beautiful city and the
45:02oldest city of south lebanon and behind me you can easily imagine how what kind of a devastation here is
45:10visible on each and every corner not only the big complexes hotels markets had been bombed but even
45:18the only the generator station of tire has been also targeted by the idf the reports what we are
45:27getting from the south lebanon there is one-to-one battle between idf soldiers and the hezbollah fighters
45:33only yesterday two soldiers of israeli army were killed by a anti-tank missile which was shot on a
45:40bulldozer in which two uh soldiers of the idf got killed and even if you will see any movement of
45:47here
45:47that is only of the ambulances because the casualties are coming from the south lebanon not only the fight
45:54is with the hezbollah fighters by idea but also the civilian targets had been hit by the idf in the
46:0250
46:03villages uh yesterday only in a single day two families 18 members of two families were killed when
46:10their house was shot by the uh idf in fact you can see behind me the moments of the lebanese
46:18army also
46:19visible here in the south lebanon it is a kind of a war zone here and no one is being
46:25allowed to go
46:26towards the border area because there it is the very dangerous situation each and every part of this
46:35this south lebanon has been vacated first it was told by the idea to these people to move as soon
46:43as
46:44possible from those areas they have equated their houses and now the other villages are also being
46:50ordered to evacuate so that the hezbollah uh fighters could be targeted by the idf ashrafani with this
47:00world exclusive from south lebanon's tier city for india today one change that you can see in uh
47:07israel today is that you can see a lot of commercial flights actually uh uh in the air you can
47:13see the
47:13commercial flights airborne and the reason for that is that yesterday a decision was taken uh to allow
47:19two uh narrow-bodied commercial flights every one hour from the ben gurin because there are there are
47:25a lot of people who've been uh stuck here there are a lot of people who want to go out
47:29there are a lot
47:29of people who want to move in now there is another breaking news coming in uh vladimir putin has openly
47:35come out in support and uh he has uh congratulated uh and said that i'm confident that you will
47:42continue your father's work with honor and unite iranian people he was speaking about uh mujtaba
47:48khameini he said that in the face of severe crisis mujtaba khameini will continue his father's work
47:58just as his name was announced as his appointment as iran's new leader was announced
48:04the statement came in from kremlin he said for my part i would like to confirm our unwavering support for
48:12tehran and solidarity with our iranian friends now the point is while vladimir putin keeps uh saying
48:19that russia stands with iran iran is actually uh without allies just looking at the proxies
48:27who stand by it during a war with america and israel uh of course it it has involved all the
48:35other
48:36gulf nations by attacking them though none have uh attacked iran back they've just intercepted incoming
48:43threats we we are stopping for a short break here uh but war updates continue from the ground keep
48:51watching india today
