Evidence Earth's core in a state between liquid and solid

Physicists have long held the assumption that the Earth's core is solid, but a new study suggests it's somewhere between sold and liquid. Professor Hrvoje Tkalcic from the ANU says this new discovery could shed light on some of the planet's deepest secrets.
