This is a split screen piece, with three screens that have been orchestrated to almost interact with the other screens. The piece is based on a play called "my mother said i never should" which deals with three generations of women (blood connected) which i represented through the use of three screen as well as being symbolic of the past, present and future, though the order can be arranged in several ways due to the issues being raise being timeless. I was exploring the idea of memory and this is highly symbolic with the use of the musical jewellery boxes and projecting the image into the mirrors to signify the memory of the event being fixed and contained and can never be changed nor disguised with the music that plays through.
