Bitcoin Dip Helps Bitfarms Invest
Bitcoin mining firm Bitfarms Ltd ($BITF@Canada) recently said it purchased 1000 Bitcoins in the first week of January after the apex token’s price plummeted. The company noted that mining hardware prices are very high, and this was the perfect time for it to move some cash into Bitcoin. Bitfarms mined 3452 Bitcoins in 2021, and now it is adding to its stake as the cryptocurrency market comes to North America. Its total stake increased to over 4300 Bitcoins. With Bitfarms headquartered in Canada, it could see an influx of business as China cracks down on crypto miners and they flee to the U.S. and Canada. As Bitcoin fell below the psychologically important $40,000 figure, Bitfarms bought at the right time. This seems to be a wise choice as Bitcoin attempts to recover. At press time, Bitcoin was trading over $41,000, up nearly 4% on a 40% increase in volume.
