This work by Argentinean born artist Leandro Erlich was originally presented at Prospect 1 in New Orleans in 2008. After the region sustained catastrophic damage from Hurricane Katrina in 2005, this Biennale was established with the aim of offering assistance and support for the city's reconstruction. Erlich created this piece after witnessing the vestigial traces of houses scattered throughout the city's Ninth Ward.
