UP: 13 foreign returnees provided wrong contact details to health department, says Meerut CMO

Amid the scare of the new Omicron variant of the coronavirus in India, Uttar Pradesh is on high alert. Of the 297 foreign returnees, 13 have provided wrong contact details to the health department, said Meerut Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Akhilesh Mohan on December 3. “The details that they provided to us have been given to LIU (Local Intelligence Unit) to find out their whereabouts,” he added.
