Man allegedly kills his mother, gets run over by lorry while fleeing

A suspected drug addict allegedly killed his 70-year-old mother at their house in Kampung Batu 5, Jalan Jeniang, near Gurun, Wednesday (Nov 10) morning.

Kuala Muda district police chief ACP Adzli Abu Shah said the suspect is believed to have panicked and fled towards Jalan Gurun-Jeniang where he was knocked down and killed by a speeding lorry.
