Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan and other cities in Guangdong are conducting city wide nucleic acid testing for all citizens in an effort to control the recent outbreak of Covid-19 cases in the region. Individual vaccine appointments are temporarily halted and travel restrictions are enforced.
To travel out of the province, people need to show a recent negative nucleic acid test and green health code.
