Bombardier Inc ($BDRBF@Canada) said on Thursday it has a firm order from an undisclosed buyer for 20 of its upgraded Challenger 2500 private jets. The company plans to capitalize on the demand for private flying during the COVID-19 pandemic while also continually releasing improved products. The Challenger 2500 seats 10, has voice-controlled cabin systems and features chaise lounge seats, listing for $26.7 million. Bombardier stock rose over half a percent in early trading.
