Rachael James, the holder of a Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education from UWI, a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education from UTT and a Master's Degree in Education Leadership & Management from UWI, began a home school – James Home School of Excellence, with one full-time student eight months before the pandemic hit in March 2020. Little did she know, her student would be among those who beat the odds.
