Bitcoin (BTC-USD) mining is more profitable than selling electricity to the national grid, according to the CEO of the world's oldest power facility, the Mechanicville hydroelectric power plant. Despite the cryptocurrency being down 3% on the day at press time, Bitcoin mining is three times more profitable than supplying electricity.
