According to research presented on Wednesday by Johns Hopkins University, Covid-19 has claimed the lives of almost 4 million people. With 606,000 deaths, the United States leads the globe, accounting for 15% of all deaths. Brazil and India round out the top three, accounting for more than a third of fatalities worldwide.
