Government criticised of being to slow to organise evacuation mission to Afghanistan

The Australian Government has faced criticism over the time it's taken to launch the rescue mission to extract Australians and Afghan locals who worked alongside the ADF. There have been repeated calls since Australia withdrew its last remaining troops back in June to evacuate the local Afghan residents who supported Australia.
