'Footage of a destructive tornado ripping through the fields south of Sycamore, IL was caught on camera by Paul Ross on August 9, 2021, at around 6:15 PM.
Paul happens to be a storm chaser and his curiosity led him to witness this awe-inspiring scene.
The filmer wrote: "While out storm chasing in North Central Illinois, I came across a mean supercell with a lowering rotating wall cloud. Soon after, the storm dropped a highly visible and photogenic tornado. I followed this tornado from its touchdown to lift, and captured this video along the way."
