HOW & WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED IN THAT INCIDENT: I booked a package online and went to Chitkul with unknown group, I was solo traveller in this trip and everyone was unknown to me I even don't know there name before, Trip started from Delhi and they pick me from (Panchkula) near to Chandigarh, our first destination was Chitkul and reached there on 24 July 2021, Next day on 25 July 2021 we were returning back from Chitkul & going to Kalpa via Sangla, When we reached near to Bitsiri village on the road to Sangla, immediately rock sliding started at approx. 1:30 pm, our traveler driver started reversing the vehicle so that all of us can reach to a safe zone, we all 11 persons including driver were inside the traveler and was able to hear the sound of rocks hitting our cab, while going reverse, we got hit by a big rock and traveler turn down immediately to left side, Everyone was inside the traveler when this happened, I fell down and throwed out of vehicle by turned force approx. 10 ft. down, first thing I did to save myself from that rocks coming to me and get shelter behind a big tree, after few seconds I ran toward safe zone and tried to call the other missing persons so that if possible I can help them out from there and also tried to call police, but in first few attempts call got failed, then I heard the voice of Shiril and I got to know his condition and location, so I guide him to the way from where we both reached to a safe zone.
We tried to find others but there was no one to whom we could help. I was keep trying to call the police from my another phone and when I connected with police control room I told them about the situation, my approx. location and number of missing persons and cab. Nearby connected city (Sangla) was 8 km from that location, we have only our phone left in our pocket and which help us to connect with police, Police reached there with rescue team & doctor, then we told them about the incident in detail and then they takeover the situation and helped us
WHEN & WHERE THIS VIDEO WAS RECORED: This place is 8 km from City Sangla (HP) near to Bitsiri Village on the road toward Sangla from Chitkul. The video is recorded after few minutes of this incident on same place.
NOTE: This video is shared to show our situation at the time of this incident and how we saved our-self and was looking for other for there help. Also this video will help others to understand the conditions in hilly areas specially in Rainy Season.
