This dramatic footage was filmed by Steve Campanini, who had the following to say about this crazy meteor sighting: "A meteor traveling at a speed of 8 miles per second ripped through the atmosphere over North Texas. This video captures the meteorite entering and leaving the sky."
The clip clearly shows the meteor first lighting up the sky and then disappearing in the blink of an eye.
