The ever-popular avocado is not only delicious but can be a super nutritious addition to your daily diet. Despite being green and not at all sweet, the avocado is a fruit. More specifically, it's a berry because it contains a seed and grows on a tree. In honor of National Avocado Day (July 31), we celebrate the fruit by looking at all the ways it can improve your health.
