Mary Kom's dream of winning a medal at the Tokyo Olympics has been shattered. She lost to third seed Ingrit Valencia of Colombia in the quarterfinals of women's boxing, in the first round Mary lost to Colombian boxer 1-4, while in the second round, Indian boxer Mary Kom gave a strong Came back and won 3-2. However, in the third round, Valencia not only made a comeback, but also won the match 3–2.
