Moonshot is a SafeMoon fork. This means that its protocol is a modified version of SafeMoon's. They are, however, distinct tokens; one's movement or protocol changes have no effect on the other. Moonshot was only recently launched, with the presale taking place at the end of March, the Binance Smart Chain serves as the foundation for the Moonshot protocol.
