Robertson Draw Wildfire Spreads to Mt. Maurice Fueled by High Temperatures and Southward Winds

The Robertson Drawn fire which started on June 13th, 2021, spread towards the south-facing slopes of Mt. Maurice after the weather shifted. The southward winds coupled with high temperatures caused the fire to rush towards the mountain in a matter of hours. Huge smoke clouds were seen looming ominously over the mountains as the fire made its way to the nearest town.
