MS Dhoni is like god for Rishabh Pant, KKR all-rounder Nitish Rana reveals| Oneindia Sports

Rishabh Pant has become central to Team India's plans across formats. Pant has worked really hard his fitness and become more consistent not just in his batting but also in wicket-keeping. Having admired Dhoni as an emerging cricketer, Pant is following the footsteps of the Jharkhand-born wicket-keeper batsman. In fact, as per Indian cricketer Nitish Rana, Dhoni has a godly stature in Pant's life.

Rishabh Pant के करियर की जब शुरूआत हुई थी, तभी से उनकी तुलना भारतीय टीम के पूर्व दिग्‍गज कप्‍तान MS Dhoni से होने लगी थी. Rishabh Pant को MS Dhoni का उत्‍तराधिकारी माना जा रहा था. युवा विकेटकीपर बल्‍लेबाज से उम्‍मीद की जा रही थी कि जब MS Dhoni अंतरराष्‍ट्रीय क्रिकेट से संन्‍यास लेंगे तो पंत उनकी जगह को आसानी से भरेंगे. कई मौकों पर MS Dhoni के साथ तुलना के कारण Rishabh Pant को आलोचनाओं का सामना भी करना पड़ा. Nitish Rana के मुताबिक पंत की जिंदगी में Dhoni का कद भगवान जैसा है.
