00:01We're here in North America on the east coast of the United States in the world-famous New York City.
00:09And here you can walk through one of the coolest urban natural areas in the world, Central Park.
00:16It's us, the Krat Brothers. I'm Martin. I'm Chris.
00:19And you know some of the wildlife you can find here in a city park.
00:23Squirrels, pigeons, even peregrine falcons.
00:26But this is also a place where you can find creatures that no longer survive in the wild, in a
00:31city park, or even a zoo.
00:33So, welcome to the American Museum of Natural History.
00:44We always like to go straight to the Hall of Biodiversity.
00:48This is where you can see a lot of really cool predators.
00:51Many predators are endangered, like the tiger.
00:54Or wolves, endangered in some places.
00:58One of the reasons big predators are in danger of extinction is because people hunt, trap, and poison them.
01:05Tigers and wolves are still hanging in there today.
01:08But another predator wasn't so lucky.
01:11Even though it has stripes, this is not a tiger.
01:14And even though it looks like a dog, it's not a wolf.
01:17This is the thylacine, sometimes called Tasmanian tiger, and a larger relative of the Tasmanian devil.
01:24This one is one of the very last Tasmanian tigers that ever existed.
01:29The species went extinct in the 1930s.
01:31And there are still so many mysteries about their behaviors, habits, and lifestyles.
01:40Imagine if we could somehow see those amazing Tasmanian tigers.
01:44Imagine if we could go back in time and check out their creature powers.
01:49What if?
01:58On a adventure with the coolest creatures.
02:01From the oceans to the trees.
02:03The brothers crack our golden places you never get to see.
02:08Heading with their creature friends.
02:10Get ready, it's the hour.
02:12We're going to save some animals today.
02:15We're the creature powers.
02:16Come and go wild wild plants.
02:19Come and go wild wild plants.
02:25Hear the speed, that lizard right.
02:28Falcon fly and then come down.
02:30We're going to go wild wild plants.
02:32Come and go wild wild plants.
02:37Come and go wild wild plants.
02:43Back in Creature Time, Tasmanian Tiger
02:47Oh, Tasmanian Tiger
02:49Please, stop, please, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop
02:59We're going to see a Tasmanian Tiger
03:02They're so busy with the Talladega Tigers, they don't even know I'm spying on them
03:07Invisibility Cloak, on
03:09A little excited?
03:11Yeah, are you kidding me, this time trampoline you invented is the best
03:16You've made it possible for us to go back in Creature Time
03:20And see extinct animals, so that means you are the best
03:26Okay, okay, thank you, I get it
03:29Hello, Tasmanian Tiger
03:32Uh, that looks dangerous
03:36Oh, no way, Tasmanian Tigers weren't dangerous
03:41They were just misunderstood
03:42Everybody thought they were dangerous
03:45And that's why some people hunted them to extinction
03:47But Tasmanian Tigers never harmed people
03:50And this is the only film of the last surviving Tasmanian Tigers that exists
03:56Oh, wow
03:58Oh, that's so cool
04:01Wow
04:08And that's the legendary Yawn Gate
04:10Tasmanian Tigers could open their mouths wider than just about any mammal that ever existed
04:16How?
04:18Why?
04:18We really don't know
04:20Is he gonna attack?
04:21Or is he tired?
04:24That's why we have to go back in time to find out
04:27Plus, did you notice there is no film or picture of young Tasmanian Tigers?
04:32Now, we could go back in time and maybe even see one
04:36Wow, what are we waiting for?
04:38Wow, what are we waiting for?
04:39We're on it
04:42And I'm going this time
04:44I can handle the operations on this end
04:46So what period of time do you want to go to?
04:49You thinking what I'm thinking, bro?
04:51I think so
04:53Let's jump back to the 1880s
04:571880s it is
04:58All right, bro
05:00Let's jump back to the time of the Tasmanian Tigers
05:04Woo!
05:06Woo-hoo!
05:07Woo-hoo!
05:09Woo-hoo!
05:09Woo-hoo!
05:10Oh, but why does everything have to be fun and games with them?
05:15When I steal this time trampoline, I am definitely cutting out the jumping part
05:20The Wildcats are going to see
05:24Tasmanian Tigers!
05:26Woo-hoo!
05:27Woo-hoo!
05:28Must throw down and trampoline!
05:43Woo-hoo!
05:45Woo-hoo!
05:47Yeah!
05:48Here I come again!
05:50Oh!
05:52Oh!
05:53Did we make it back to the time of the Tasmanian?
05:57Well, we're definitely in Tasmania, because there's a Tasmanian Devil sniffing my poop.
06:03Ow!
06:04Okay, I feel that.
06:06Ow!
06:07Oh!
06:10And this Tasmanian quill doesn't seem afraid of people.
06:14So we might have gone back far enough.
06:17Now we just have to find some tigers to be sure.
06:21Come on!
06:22I'll stay with the time trampoline until you locate a Tasmanian tiger.
06:27Cokie, come in Cokie. Aviva here.
06:30I hear you, Aviva.
06:31Well, we all made the time jump fine.
06:34The time connection seems stable on this end.
06:36All systems go. No problems here.
06:40Well, Cokie didn't observe one very important problem.
06:45Me!
06:45But now I know exactly what I can do to finally stop the wild rats once and for all!
06:54But it's not going to be able to handle a whole lot more jumping.
06:57How long do you think the time connection will remain stable?
07:01Mmm, hours maybe?
07:03And the bros will really have to hurry.
07:06Whoa!
07:07Huh?
07:08What is that?
07:10Whoa!
07:12Hmm, it doesn't match any known creature cults on your Creaturepedia.
07:17The sound is coming from right in there.
07:20Whoa!
07:21Oh, could it be...
07:25Tasmanian tigers!
07:28Chris, are you seeing this?
07:30Yeah, I can't believe my eyes!
07:33Aviva, we found the Tasmanian tigers!
07:36Get over here!
07:37What?
07:38You did?
07:39But is it safe to leave the time trampoline?
07:42We are looking at the most amazing creature sight.
07:45Something nobody in our time has ever seen.
07:49Okay, okay!
07:50I'm on my way!
07:52Adding Tasmanian tigers to the life list!
07:55I never thought I'd be able to say that!
08:00Tasmanian tigers!
08:05A Tasmanian tiger, Joey!
08:07I don't believe it!
08:10A lingo!
08:12It sure looks like the theory that they live in a family group is true!
08:22Whoa, now that's a wow fact!
08:25The Tasmanian tiger has one of the widest gates of any mammal that ever lived!
08:32The yawn cape!
08:34Looks like it's meant to say, back off!
08:36A warning!
08:38Well, it worked on me and the baby!
08:41I've got to get to work on Tasmanian tiger powers!
08:44When do you ever get to invent powers of an extinct creature?
08:48When do you ever get to name extinct creatures?
08:52Let's see, the adults are easy.
08:54Tasdad, Tasmom!
08:57But, what about you?
09:01Okay, I think I'm getting a name here.
09:04Wait for it...
09:05Wait for it...
09:07Okay, I'm waiting!
09:09But I'm not waiting anymore!
09:11Help!
09:12Zack!
09:14Immobilize!
09:14Wah!
09:21Let me go!
09:23Wild rats!
09:24Zack is here and I...
09:25Uh, didn't you see me hit the mute button?
09:28We can hear the wild rats, but they can't hear you!
09:33Hmm...
09:34While they're busy running around with Transylvanian tigers, I will use their time machine!
09:40I'm going to jump back in time, take the trampoline on that end back with me, thereby trapping the wild
09:46rats in the past!
09:48Forever!
09:52Well, your stripes kind of remind me of an X, so...
09:56Your name is Little X!
09:59Little X?
10:00Really?
10:01Yeah, Little X!
10:03Of course!
10:03His name was in his stripes the whole time!
10:06Yeah, it's true!
10:08Every Tasmanian tiger has its own unique stripe pattern!
10:11I'll make sure I program in your own stripe patterns!
10:15Hey, here's something!
10:18What in the creature world?
10:21Our Tasmanian tigers are turning into kangaroos?
10:25Just like kangaroos they use their tails to lean back on!
10:29He's standing up to see over the tall grasses!
10:32And that's what they're looking at!
10:35Kangaroos!
10:36Their natural favorite prey!
10:43The Tasmanian tigers are on the hunt!
10:46Check it out!
10:48The Tasmanian tiger hunts by endurance!
10:55They're not fast, but steady!
10:57And they can run!
10:59And run!
11:00And run!
11:00Seems like forever!
11:03Tasmanian tigers really do have marvelous running endurance!
11:07Martin and Chris?
11:09No!
11:09Not so much!
11:12Oh no!
11:13Some kind of antique truck!
11:16The tea tigers are heading straight towards it!
11:18Quick, bro!
11:19Sling me forward!
11:20Not so much!
11:23No!
11:23Let's go!
11:24No!
11:30No!
11:31No!
11:34No!
11:36No!
11:37I know!
11:37I know!
11:38Who likes to get their tail pulled?
11:40Sorry!
11:41But we couldn't let them see you!
11:43Hey!
11:44Who is...
11:44Damn Henry!
11:45You guys stay here!
11:47Ooh, what's that look like?
11:51Uh-huh.
11:54This is where I will locate my sheep farm,
11:56and from these lands upon the backs of my sheep
11:59will grow the finest wool in the world.
12:02Upon that, I will build a fashion empire.
12:05Shall we up?
12:06Yes, Janita?
12:07You've got to be kidding me.
12:09Rid the lands of the predatory devils
12:12and beastly striped tigers
12:13so my little sheepy weepy
12:15can eat grass in peace.
12:18Yes, Janita!
12:21Janita and Damio's great-great-great-great
12:23grand something or others?
12:25Yup, it looks like endangering wildlife
12:28runs in the family.
12:29And this is exactly how it started.
12:31When Europeans arrived in Tasmania,
12:33they started sheep farming
12:35and hunting the Tasmanian tigers to extinction.
12:38We can't let what happened to the dodo bird
12:40happen to the Tasmanian tigers.
12:42We have to do something more this time.
12:45Yeah, and I want to take this entire family
12:48of Tassie tigers forward to the future
12:50where we know they will survive.
12:52But that won't help Tasmanian tigers in the wild.
12:55We have to teach them how to adapt
12:57to the arrival of hunters
12:58so they can survive on their own.
13:00Eliminate the predators.
13:02Oi, oi, senita!
13:04We have to bring them back.
13:07We have to teach them here.
13:09Aviva!
13:10Okay, how about this?
13:12We try to teach them here first
13:14and we see how it goes.
13:15If it doesn't work,
13:16we can take them back with us.
13:18Sounds like a plan.
13:20To the creature rescue!
13:21But whatever we decide to do,
13:24you know you'll have to activate
13:26Tasmanian tiger power!
13:28Oh, oh, now that'll be a blast from the past.
13:32I never imagined we'd be doing this.
13:37Activate Tasmanian tiger power!
13:49Wow, awesome!
13:50Check out the tail.
13:52You can lean back, stand up,
13:54and look around.
13:55Yeah!
13:56Oh, these are the best.
13:58I feel like I could run forever.
14:03Ah, check out the yawn gape.
14:06Ah, I've got one too!
14:09Whoa!
14:10And I gave you each your own signature.
14:13Have a look at the stripes.
14:15A CK!
14:16An MK!
14:18You programmed our initials into our stripes!
14:22Wow!
14:23Thanks, Aviva.
14:23What we have to do now
14:25is teach these Tasmanian tigers
14:27to avoid humans
14:28and not to hunt sheep.
14:32Jack Bart, come!
14:34You do the jumping!
14:38And I will ride through time!
14:45Whee!
14:49Whee!
14:51Whoa!
14:53Whoa!
14:54Don't you stand there!
14:56Put me down on solid ground!
14:59Oh!
15:00Whoa!
15:01That's not what I had in mind.
15:04I don't exactly like time travel
15:07at the moment,
15:08but now I can immediately steal
15:10the trampoline piece on this end,
15:13jump back with it,
15:14thus closing the time connection,
15:16and trapping the wild rats forever!
15:20But what fun would that be?
15:22First, I have to find Martin, Chris, and Aviva
15:25and tell them I'm going to trap them in time forever!
15:29I can't wait to see their faces!
15:37I just told Tasman humans are dangerous
15:40and we're going to teach our whole family
15:42how to survive.
15:43Well, let's get started!
16:00What's up this?
16:02Huh?
16:40I hope it's enough.
16:41I don't know.
16:42I think we gotta do more.
16:44Only time will tell.
16:46Hey, you know how Koki is always telling us what to do?
16:49We haven't heard from her in a while.
16:52Koki?
16:53Koki?
16:54Look out!
16:55Get back to the time trampoline!
16:57Watch out for Zack!
17:00That's strange.
17:01No answer from Koki.
17:03I'd better go check on the time trampoline.
17:07There's the wild rats.
17:09I can't wait to tell them.
17:11Hello, Martin.
17:13Hello, Chris.
17:14Oh, nice creature power suits.
17:17Zack, how'd you get back in time?
17:20Well, I wanted to say hi to my favorite wild rats, of course.
17:24Uh, did you say wild rats?
17:27Why are you being so nice?
17:29Because I wanted to see your shocked faces when I tell you...
17:33I'm trapping you back in time forever!
17:36Ha ha ha!
17:38Huh?
17:38Uh, you're not gonna trap us back in time.
17:41Oh, yes I am.
17:43Oh, no, you're not!
17:45Yes I am!
17:47Ha ha ha!
18:17Uh-oh.
18:17You're faster than you!
18:18You'll never catch me!
18:20Uh-oh.
18:46Uh-oh.
18:49No problem!
18:54Oh, no!
18:55We're almost out of power!
18:57I'd better get back to the time trampoline!
18:59And fast!
19:02Oh!
19:03Oh!
19:03Oh!
19:05Oh!
19:06Oh!
19:06Oh!
19:08Oh!
19:09I'm not done yet!
19:11I'm not done yet!
19:11I still have one Zackbot left hiding at your time machine!
19:15And I've instructed it to capture Aviva!
19:17What?
19:18We'd better get back!
19:20Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
19:23Ha ha ha ha!
19:24Huh?
19:24Hey!
19:25Wait up!
19:27Aviva!
19:28There's a Zackbot hiding at the time trampoline!
19:32Ha ha ha ha!
19:33Ha ha ha ha!
19:33Hang on Aviva!
19:34We'll be right there!
19:37Ha ha ha!
19:39Help!
19:40Oh no!
19:42We're too late!
19:43Ha ha ha ha ha!
19:44I'm going to jump back to the future!
19:46Zackbot!
19:47You disintegrate the trampoline after I've gone through!
19:50Leaving you all here in the past!
19:53Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
19:55Oh no!
19:56Die!
19:57Hurry Chris!
19:57Grab Zack and bounce him out of here!
19:59I'll rescue Aviva!
20:01Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
20:03Let's bounce Zack!
20:06You can't pull!
20:08Move!
20:09Much!
20:10Longer!
20:12I'll give you a hand!
20:14Nothing would be worse for endangered species than you making trouble in the past!
20:19See ya!
20:21Yeah!
20:22Ha ha ha ha ha!
20:24Whoa!
20:26Whoa!
20:28Whoa!
20:29Whoa!
20:30Well that was weird!
20:31Yeah!
20:32Zack rescued us!
20:33It's getting closer to it!
20:36If Zack really wants to disintegrate something, why not?
20:40His own invention!
20:42Time's up Zackbot!
20:44Whoa!
20:44Thanks!
20:45No problem!
20:47Yeah!
20:48Are you guys okay?
20:50Bruce!
20:51The time jump connection is destabilizing!
20:53We need to get on the trampoline and start jumping now or it will be too late!
20:59Oh no!
21:00I can't say goodbye to little X and his family!
21:03We've gotta go!
21:04Remember what we taught you guys!
21:06Keep away from humans!
21:08Wait wait wait!
21:09I don't have to say goodbye!
21:10Let's take them with us!
21:13What?
21:13If they're gonna survive on their own, we can't take a whole family away!
21:18Every single Tasmanian tiger is precious now in this time!
21:23Oh!
21:23Okay!
21:24Quick!
21:25Let's go!
21:26We're gonna miss these guys!
21:30Bro!
21:31Are you trying to smuggle a Tasmanian tiger back to the future?
21:34Uh!
21:36Yeah!
21:37Kind of!
21:41Oh!
21:42But I think little X wants to stay here!
21:44With his family!
21:46And I just realized something!
21:47We spend all our time reuniting rescued baby animals with their moms!
21:52How can I ever take one away?
21:54Good luck little X!
21:55Have a nice long life!
21:58Guys!
21:59Hurry!
22:00The time connection is falling apart!
22:01We have to divert maximum power to keep the time jump open!
22:05It might destroy the time trampoline, but it's the only way to get us back!
22:10Do it!
22:11Here goes!
22:13Five!
22:13Four!
22:15Three!
22:16Two!
22:17One!
22:19Goodbye guys!
22:27It's closing behind us!
22:29Climb bro!
22:30Climb!
22:30Climb!
22:30How do you do that in the time connection?
22:33I don't know!
22:33Swim!
22:34Climb!
22:35Climb!
22:35Run!
22:39Get it away!
22:40Get it away!
22:42Hey!
22:43The cover's in!
22:44Oh!
22:46Oh!
22:47Oh!
22:47Oh!
22:48Oh!
22:48Oh!
22:48Oh!
22:54Oh!
22:54Are you guys okay?
22:56Yeah?
22:57But that was a close one!
22:58Eh heh heh!
22:59Time for me to get out of here!
23:02Ha ha ha!
23:03Later, Wild Ray!
23:06Huh!
23:07The trampoline is totally destroyed!
23:09We won't be time traveling anytime soon!
23:12Oh!
23:13I hope little X and his family were okay!
23:18let me check the database
23:21it shows the tasmanian tigers are unfortunately listed as extinct
23:25but there are still unconfirmed sightings of them in remote areas
23:29so maybe they still do survive and little x isn't all gone
23:34because look what i brought back a baby tooth and a tuft of fur from little x
23:39a part of him will always be with us so we can always activate tasmanian tiger powers
23:47hey and this way little x will always be helping us save other endangered species
23:53before they go extinct like the philippine eagle look her wing is healed
23:59all right she's ready to fly
24:04we want you guys around with us forever
24:08living free and in the wild
24:11now and in the future
24:15there's a small chance that some tasmanian tigers might still survive
24:20maybe but odds are they're all gone extinct
24:24and it's really sad to think about cool animals like the tasmanian tigers that have disappeared
24:30with the special abilities like one of the widest mouth gapes of any animal on planet earth
24:35and the power to stand on his back legs leaning back on a muscular tail like a kangaroo
24:41or the incredible endurance that gave the tasmanian tiger the ability to pursue prey tirelessly over long distances
24:49this amazing animal reminds us to take care of the special creatures that still survive and are endangered
24:57and those are the animals that need our help to survive
25:00like other predators like the african wild dog
25:03also called the painted dog these are very social pack hunting dogs that survive on the african savannah
25:12and they are very endangered with only a few thousand left
25:19another great runner the cheetah is a wild cat that's in danger of going extinct
25:26can you imagine a world without cheetahs
25:30and far too many of the ocean's top predators are endangered including sharks
25:38most species of sharks are vulnerable
25:40their ocean habitat is threatened in many ways
25:43and even powerful animals like the great white shark
25:47are in danger of going extinct
25:51also there's the largest shark on the planet
25:53the whale shark
25:55that could disappear if we don't take care of our oceans
25:58right now
25:59you can still see a lot of these animals
26:01living free and in the wild
26:03if you get out there and get a little lucky
26:05but if they lose their battle
26:07with extinction we'll be out of luck
26:09and this will be all we have left
26:11so we better get back into the wilds and see some cool creatures
26:15you thinking what i'm thinking?
26:17more lemurs than mad at gaskar
26:19let's go!
26:25keep following creature adventuring
26:27we'll see you on the creature trail
26:32the long neck of the giraffe gives it an advantage for reaching high leaves
26:35but a disadvantage for drinking on the ground
26:38but a giraffe has a solution
26:41spread those legs wide
26:44and bend that long neck down
26:46now that is probably the most vulnerable position for a giraffe
26:50because lions
26:51that's when they want to attack it
26:53because it'll take the giraffe a little while to get up and get running
26:56the most vulnerable time for a giraffe is when it's drinking water
27:03squirrels come in different colors
27:05some black, some gray
27:08but believe it or not
27:09these are gray squirrels
27:10even though they're black
27:16over most of north america
27:18gray squirrels are gray
27:20but why do some of the black burn?
27:22it could be simply to keep them warm
27:25some scientists have shown that in the winter
27:28black squirrels are 11% warmer than the gray ones
27:31this is such the桑
27:31this is the unfortunate thing
27:32this is gonna seem like
27:32this is going in case
27:32deep
27:33think
