Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador only knew about Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani receiving his appointment letter as his successor a few hours before the ceremony on Friday morning.
In a press conference later in the afternoon, the outgoing Inspector-General of Police said Acryl Sani informed him of the ceremony and he had congratulated his successor.
