Police arrested for extortion

The net is closing in on gang bosses and those behind elaborate extortion rings in the Western Cape. Police officers are among a string of people arrested in ongoing investigations. Since a task team was devised to look into these crimes in September last year,106 people have been arrested. In an operation last month even a member of the Deputy Defense Minister's protection unit was taken into custody. Etv’s Natalie Malgas speaks to the police minister. Courtesy #DStv403
