In order for you to feel as comfortable as possible when you catch a cold, you should do several things, including:

1- Drink lots of fluids, as chicken soup and other warm fluids are soothing and can relieve congestion, while avoiding caffeine and alcohol. They can dry out your throat

2- Rest and stay at home as much as possible

3- Keep your room warm, not hot, and that the air is moist and not dry

4- Gargling with salt water can relieve sore and irritated throat

5- To get relief from nasal congestion, try saline nasal sprays, which can help relieve symptoms,
even in children

6- Sleeping enough during the night, which helps the body relax

7- Exercising regularly, which in turn protects against cold and flu

8- Eat healthy, balanced food that helps boost the body’s immunity, especially vegetables and
fruits that contain "vitamin C."

9-Not to be in crowded places, which help spread the infection

10- Quit smoking

11- Use wipes to ensure that the spray that contains viruses does not spread to the surrounding people
