How to make Homemade Rasmalai Recipe by Cooking with Asifa. Ras malai is a dessert originating from the Bengal region but lot famous in Indian Sub-continent. These are white cream balls soaked in simmering milk cream.
Mix dry milk powder, semolina, baking powder, plain flour & Desi-ghee in a bowl. Knead it for 5-10 mins with help of an egg by gently adding a small amount of it makes dough soft. Divide & make small round balls from the dough without any crack. Heat milk, sugar n cardamom in a cooking pan & cook till milk decreases from 1.5 liters to 1 L Add Balls in milk to cook on high flame for 5 mins. Add half of pistachio n almonds to simmer for 10 mins. Cool down the ras-malai in the pan for 15 mins and refrigerate. Serve by garnishing almonds n pistachios all over it.
