Today we recount the story of India's warriors who, 21 years ago, liberated Tiger Hill in Ladakh from Pakistan Army invaders and unfurled the tricolour on this strategic point. This was a turning point in the Kargil war and a significant milestone, as with the reclamation of this mountain top, the war was arguably won by India. After this, a renewed ardour filled the forces and pushing back the rest of the invaders was easy.
