Speaker Muturi: 2 Lawmakers Test Positive For Covid-19

Following days of speculations, national assembly speaker Justin Muturi has confirmed cases of covid-19 in parliament. In a statement seen By Ebru Tv, speaker Muturi dismissed claims that six MPs tested positive for coronavirus saying its only two, one of whom has since been discharged from hospital and is in isolation. On Monday the ministry of health had declined to comment on the number of positive lawmakers on the basis of avoiding stigma. So far Kenya has recorded 6,366 after 176 new cases were reported in the last 24hrs.
