An agreement for the 2020-2021 MLB season to occur is finally in place between the players and owners. A 60-game regular season will be played that will feature extensive health and safety protocols to keep everyone involved safe. Training camps will officially begin on July 3, while the season will get underway on July 24.
Similar to what the NBA has done, MLB players are not forced to participate in the shortened season and will still be paid if they choose not too.
