The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed 205 new coronavirus disease cases on May 18, Monday, bringing the country’s total to over 12,718.
Out of the new confirmed cases, the Health department noted that 145 cases were found in Metro Manila, 7 cases in Central Visayas, and 52 cases in other regions.
The latest data also bared 94 new recoveries, raising the total tally of individuals who have survived from COVID-19 to 2,729.
However, the number of those who died has increased by 7 to 831, the DOH said.
