How to Draw a Football - Easy Things to Draw

Here we will discuss how to draw a football. We will discuss different methods to draw a football to develop some better understanding of some skills of good drawing. In this method we learn how to draw a football as follow:

First, make a big shape that looks a lot like an almond, or even an eye. Next, make two horizontal lines at each end of the football. These are the painted white lines on every football. Next, draw a straight diagonal line down the center of the football, and move along to the last drawing step. You will now draw in the laces on the diagonal line you just drew in step two. Clean up the mess, and you're done. Look it here, you have a nice football that is ready to be colored in and used on the field.

In the next method let’s see another example of football drawing as follow:

This is just an example sketch of how a football should be sketched out when drawn in an action or in a thrown state. Notice that the football on the top has more lines that almost look like fine hair strands. The football on the bottom has fewer action lines.
