Trials on the medicine tocilizumab to treat Covid-19 patients are ongoing, said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a press conference on Sunday.
He said he hoped the research on the medicine would help in curbing the Covid-19 pandemic.
He also answered questions on the procurement of rapid test kits from China, South Korea and the United States that are supposed to yield results of Covid-19 tests in a short time.
