Fortunately, we can use a useful password recovery tool, Windows Password Rescuer Advanced, to easily reset forgotten Windows 8.1 admin password with USB flash drive.
This video will show you how to reset Windows 8.1 administrator password easily without losing any files. You only need to download and install Windows Password Rescuer Advanced on another accessible computer and burn to a USB flash drive. Then plug in the USB to your Windows 8.1 computer to reset password. How it work?
1. Start you Windows 8.1 computer, press F2/DELETE key as soon as possible to open BIOS SETUP table. Select boot option menu and choose USB HDD. Then the computer will boot from USB and Windows Password Rescuer will be loaded.
2. When Windows Password Rescuer screen appears, select your Windows system from list, click Administrator from list, click Reset Password button and click Yes. The administrator account’s password will be reset to blank, click Reboot, when a confirm message pops up, unplug your USB and click Yes.
3. After restarting, it will log into administrator automatically without password.
4. OK, now you could open control panel and manage other user accounts.
