While many people are being forced to stay at home because of COVID-19, introverts don’t feel a big difference. According to Reuters, the number of calls to psychiatrists have gone up with people lacking social contact. An introvert from Seattle described not having to go out as “an introvert’s dream.” The American Psychological Association defines introverts as people who are more inwardly focused and relatively more reserved. A research psychologist from Arizona said introverts “may be better positioned to weather enforced time at home.”
