Nirbhaya’s mother Asha Devi finally hoped for new death warrants for Nirbhaya convicts as Supreme Court dismissed the petition of fourth convict, Pawan. While speaking to ANI, Asha Devi said, “I have hopes but they have delayed the hanging so we cannot even imagine that the struggle is complete until they are hanged. Now there is no legal remedy left that will cause in delay in hanging them. We have put our application for fresh dates yesterday evening. We have hopes that we will get new death warrants today.” She further said, “The way AP Singh is keeping Pulwama and Nithari cases and trying to connect it with this case, he is forgetting that even these convicts have killed my daughter. AP Singh is not fighting his case, now he is attacking us. He has lost his temper and his conscience. But the whole society is watching what I am doing and what he is doing.”
