An annular solar eclipse was visible on December 26, 2019 in the Middle East and Asia along a 118-kilometre wide path. The rare “ring of fire” could be seen from countries including Saudi Arabia, Oman, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
