Researcher Harry Coumnas presented his thesis on “Zombies” on 28 November, 2019, which was later evaluated by a panel of experts at the Boston University. Based on his findings, Harry Coumnas says that Zombies have existed throughout Haiti for decades. According to Coumnas, the life of a zombie represents the dreadful plight of slavery. Harry’s thesis also includes some interesting zombie facts, such as: As per the Haitian folklore, feeding the Zombies with salt can actually restore their freedom; Australia is the safest county in the world to live if there was a Zombie apocalypse; and Yaws is a disease which makes you look almost like a Zombie.
