Jay-Z will celebrate his 50th birthday with
a return to the music streaming platform.
The rapper's music catalog
has been off Spotify for
the past two years.
Spotify celebrated Jay-Z's return with
a message at 12:00 A.M. on Dec. 4.

Jay-Z owns Tidal, one of Spotify's competitors, and there has been no official message on the reason for his return.
It is not yet known how long Jay-Z's albums
will be available to stream on Spotify
